I'm Shahbaz Surani. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are from my time at REC in Hyderabad, where I shared classrooms and moments with Rashmi. Back then, I never imagined how meaningful that connection would become.
Our bond strengthened during an unforgettable trip to Rishikesh. The adventure was special, but life had other plans—we drifted apart as I moved to the United States. For 15 years, our paths didn’t cross, yet something always felt unfinished.
In the summer of 2024, fate stepped in. Rashmi came to the U.S. for vacation, and through a twist of destiny, we ran into each other at a restaurant in Atlanta. That simple hello rekindled everything. One conversation led to another, and soon we were inseparable.
June 20th became the day we reconnected officially—our very first meeting after 15 years. What followed was a beautiful month of heartfelt conversations, laughter, and growing closeness. By August 23rd, surrounded by family, we celebrated our Mitha Muh ceremony, marking the beginning of this exciting new chapter. From REC kids to something truly special—this journey has been filled with warmth, grace, and destiny.
